Job Requirements
- Completion of site personnel general orientation
- completion of department-specific orientation
- ability to meet ADA standards
- flexibility to work varied shifts Sunday through Saturday including early mornings and late afternoons
- availability to work every other weekend
- strong adherence to safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
- ability to perform routine cleaning and food service tasks
- effective communication skills for engaging with customers and team members

Job Duties
- Ensure compliance with regulatory or accrediting agency standards
- maintain established policies and procedures, standards and practices in food preparation
- ensure confidential treatment of communications and records
- stock the cafeteria with appropriate foods including hot and cold items, baked goods, beverages, desserts and condiments
- set up menu boards and reflect current menu
- know menu, portion sizes and direct customers to current prices
- operate register and facilitate customer service efficiently
- utilize appropriate infection control practices such as hand washing and food handling
- adhere to proper precautions with hazardous materials and waste disposal
- wipe off counters and tables, arrange and replenish items
- keep station neat, clean and fully stocked
- keep dining room tables straightened and clean with salt and paper shakers
- clean and sanitize work area and equipment
- follow department safety and sanitation rules including state and HACCP
- collect, process and properly dispose of trash, recyclables and other waste
- perform general routine cleaning duties and non-routine duties as directed
