Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to read menu items and communicate in English
- ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- physical capacity to stand, walk, lift, carry, push, pull, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, handle, finger, see, talk and hear as required
- ability to push food carts and trucks
- commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation
- ability to work scheduled shifts including every other weekend
- willingness to participate in departmental meetings and training

Job Duties
- Attend department meetings and monthly in-services
- anticipate and meet customer needs, taking appropriate steps to resolve issues
- maintain cleanliness of work areas and sanitation of equipment
- demonstrate a positive and friendly attitude
- adhere to all HACCP standards
- alert supervisor to concerns, discrepancies, or product shortages
- actively support department goals for operations and customer satisfaction
- work in tray line, cafeteria, and kitchen positions
- set up and stock food stations for meal service
- assemble and deliver patient trays
- clean stations, equipment, and floors after meals
- operate dish machine, trash compactor, and mop floors
- prepare additional food items for patient tray line
- regularly perform sanitation projects
- assist with training and cross-training employees
