Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- one year previous experience in a food service setting
- CPR and CPI to be obtained within two weeks of date of hire
- adaptability to perform a variety of duties and repetitive tasks
- ability to read and follow direction
- ability to add and subtract
- ability to interact in a positive manner and communicate well with patients, families, co-workers, supervisors, and other hospital employees
- stable emotional makeup to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions

Job Duties
- prepare and serve food to patients, staff, and visitors
- complete routine and special sanitation duties
- interact with patients, family members, physicians, referral sources, affiliating schools, and visitors in a friendly, supportive, courteous, respectful, cooperative, and professional manner
- promote teamwork and positive relations consistent with facility standards and guidelines
- follow established food safety and hygiene regulations
- assist in maintaining a clean and organized food service area
- adapt to perform a variety of duties and repetitive tasks
