Job Duties

  • attends department meetings, monthly in-services, and training classes
  • anticipates and meets customer needs and rectifies issues
  • maintains cleanliness of work areas and department equipment
  • demonstrates positive and friendly attitude
  • adheres to all HACCP standards
  • alerts supervisor to concerns, discrepancies, or product shortages
  • supports and upholds department goals for operations and customer satisfaction
  • works in tray line, cafeteria, and kitchen positions
  • sets up and stocks food station for meal service
  • assembles and delivers patient trays
  • cleans station, equipment, and floors after meals
  • operates dish machine, trash compactor, and mops floors
  • prepares additional food items for patient tray line
  • participates in sanitation projects
  • trains new employees and cross trains fellow employees
