Job Duties
- attends department meetings, monthly in-services, and training classes
- anticipates and meets customer needs and rectifies issues
- maintains cleanliness of work areas and department equipment
- demonstrates positive and friendly attitude
- adheres to all HACCP standards
- alerts supervisor to concerns, discrepancies, or product shortages
- supports and upholds department goals for operations and customer satisfaction
- works in tray line, cafeteria, and kitchen positions
- sets up and stocks food station for meal service
- assembles and delivers patient trays
- cleans station, equipment, and floors after meals
- operates dish machine, trash compactor, and mops floors
- prepares additional food items for patient tray line
- participates in sanitation projects
- trains new employees and cross trains fellow employees
