Job Duties
- attends department meetings monthly in-services training classes etc as assigned
- anticipates and meets customer needs
- takes appropriate steps to rectify issues
- maintains cleanliness of work areas
- maintains cleanliness and sanitation of department equipment
- demonstrates a positive and friendly attitude
- adheres to all HACCP standards
- alerts supervisor to any concerns discrepancies product shortages etc
- actively supports and upholds department goals to maintain or improve operations and customer satisfaction
- works in various tray line cafeteria and kitchen positions
- sets up and stocks food station for meal service
- assembles patient trays and delivers trays from patient rooms
- cleans station equipment and floors at the end of each meal
- may operate dish machine trash compactor mopping floors
- prepares additional food items for patient tray line
- regularly works on sanitation projects assigned by manager
- assists with training of new employees as well as cross training of fellow employees
