Job Requirements

  • Prior food handlers certification
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy food pans and equipment
  • Must comply with sanitation and safety requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Prior food handlers certification
  • Experience in food preparation and service preferred
  • Ability to follow approved food recipes and production standards
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Prepares food by washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables
  • Weighs and measures designated ingredients
  • Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from workstations, stoves and refrigerators following safety standards
  • Stores food in designated areas with proper wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures
  • Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils
  • Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment
  • Serves customers efficiently and in a friendly manner following outlined steps of service
