Job Requirements
- Ability to perform physical tasks required for food preparation and cleaning
- Willingness to comply with all safety and sanitation procedures
- Must pass drug screening
- Must complete TB evaluation
- Must receive annual influenza vaccination or have valid exemption
- Must undergo national and state background checks as required by state law
- Eligibility to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in food service or related field is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain hygiene standards
- Basic math skills for handling money transactions
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
Job Duties
- Prepare, heat and finish cooking food items and serve customers under direct supervision
- Receive and disburse money in a food service establishment
- Clean work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware
- Clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances
- Conduct or assist with food supply requisitions and sanitation and maintenance inspections
- Replenish supplies of food, condiments, and equipment at steam tables and service bars
- Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage
- Unpack and store supplies, raw and prepared food products
