Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent or relevant experience
- ability to stand and walk frequently
- ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds occasionally with assistance
- effective communication skills in English
- ability to follow sanitation and food safety standards
- capability to push food carts and trays
- flexibility to work rotating shifts
- willing to attend departmental meetings and trainings
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to read menu items in English
- ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of HACCP standards
- experience in food service or related field preferred
Job Duties
- attends department meetings and training sessions as assigned
- anticipates and meets customer needs, taking appropriate steps to rectify issues
- maintains cleanliness of work areas and sanitation of department equipment
- adheres to all HACCP standards
- alerts supervisor to concerns, discrepancies, or product shortages
- works in various cafeteria and kitchen positions, setting up and stocking food stations for meal service
- assembles meals and serves food and beverages to retail customers
