- must be able to read menu items in English except pot-washer position
- must be able to communicate in English except pot-washer position
- must be able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- attends department meetings, monthly in-services, and training classes as assigned
- anticipates and meets customer needs, taking appropriate steps to rectify issues
- maintains cleanliness of work areas and sanitation of department equipment
- demonstrates a positive and friendly attitude
- adheres to all HACCP standards
- alerts supervisor to any concerns, discrepancies, or product shortages
- actively supports and upholds department goals to maintain or improve operations and customer satisfaction
- works in various cafeteria and kitchen positions, setting up and stocking food stations for meal service
- assembles meals and serves food and beverages to retail customers
- cleans stations, equipment, and floors at the end of each meal
- operates dish machines, trash compactors, and mops floors as required
- prepares additional food items for cafeteria operations
- regularly works on sanitation projects assigned by the manager
- assists with training of new employees as well as cross-training of fellow employees
