Job Requirements
- Prior food service, waiter, or food runner experience preferred
- Ability to work full time
- Availability to work varying schedules
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting and standing
- Willingness to comply with sanitation and safety standards
- Effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in food service, waiter or food runner preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work varied shifts and maintain punctuality
- Physical ability to carry heavy trays and stand for extended periods
Job Duties
- Prepares and presents food as needed
- Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables
- Weighs and measures designated ingredients
- Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards
- Stores food following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures
- Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils
- Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment
- Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to maintain quality, serving temperatures and portion control
- Serves customers in a friendly and efficient manner following outlined steps of service
- Resolves customer concerns and communicates relevant information to supervisor
- Ensures compliance with company service standards, inventory and cash control procedures
- Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements
- Performs other duties as assigned
