Job Duties

  • Prepares fruits and vegetables by washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding
  • weighs and measures designated ingredients
  • transports pans, kettles, and trays of food safely between workstations and storage areas
  • stores food following wrapping, dating, safety, and rotation procedures
  • cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment
  • uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure food quality, proper serving temperatures, and portion control
  • serves customers in a friendly and efficient manner following service steps
  • resolves customer concerns and communicates relevant information to supervisor
  • ensures compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures
  • follows sanitation and safety requirements
  • performs additional duties as assigned
