Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to stand and be on feet for extended periods
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking
- willingness to adhere to food safety and sanitation protocols
- reliable and punctual
- able to work in a fast-paced environment
- capable of following instructions and maintaining cleanliness
Job Qualifications

- prior institutional food service or restaurant experience is a plus
- solid understanding of food handling regulations

Job Duties
- Prepare and assist team members in the preparation of quality foods according to the planned menu, recipes, and work instructions in a timely manner
- clean and maintain a neat and food safe workstation, including duties like pulling trash, sweeping, and mopping
- serve food during planned meal schedules following department policies and procedures
- utilize kitchen utensils and equipment to cook, prepare and serve food according to recipes and client nutritional needs
- abide by all food safety regulations related to sanitation, food handling and storage
- maintain cleanliness of refrigerators, freezers, cooking and serving equipment
- function efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while staying organized and clean
- manage garbage collection and keep kitchen floors free from excess food and trash
- perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and prolonged standing
- perform other related duties as assigned
