Job Requirements
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience
- Ability to work PRN (as needed) shifts
- Ability to follow established food safety and sanitation protocols
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic math skills for inventory management
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in food service or dishwashing is beneficial
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Basic understanding of safe food handling and sanitation practices
- Customer service orientation
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings and evenings
Job Duties
- Handling, preparing and serving food in accordance with written menu and sanitation regulations
- Preparing cafeteria food service and delivering food to customers
- Restocking cafeteria supplies
- Maintaining sanitation of work areas, dishes and equipment
- Maintaining inventory control, product rotation, labeling and safe food handling practices to ensure continued availability to customers
- Collaborating effectively with team members to ensure efficient food service operations
- Providing excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors
