Job Requirements

  • Less than 1 year of applicable experience
  • Ability to work PRN (as needed) shifts
  • Ability to follow established food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Basic math skills for inventory management

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in food service or dishwashing is beneficial
  • Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Basic understanding of safe food handling and sanitation practices
  • Customer service orientation
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings and evenings

Job Duties

  • Handling, preparing and serving food in accordance with written menu and sanitation regulations
  • Preparing cafeteria food service and delivering food to customers
  • Restocking cafeteria supplies
  • Maintaining sanitation of work areas, dishes and equipment
  • Maintaining inventory control, product rotation, labeling and safe food handling practices to ensure continued availability to customers
  • Collaborating effectively with team members to ensure efficient food service operations
  • Providing excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors
