- At least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to stand for extended periods

- Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Supervise inmate labor and team members during food prep and food service shifts
- Prepare, assist, or instruct inmate labor and team members in food preparation according to menus and recipes
- Ensure proper and sanitary food storage
- Serve food during planned meal schedules in compliance with policies
- Utilize kitchen utensils and equipment to cook, prepare, and serve food
- Follow all food safety regulations related to sanitation, handling, and storage
- Train other food service workers
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas including refrigerators, freezers, and cooking equipment
- Adhere to facility uniform policies
- Manage garbage collection and keep kitchen floors clean
- Ensure kitchen is clean and ready for food prep and serving
- Review portions and utensils for service
- Promote a healthy and safe work environment
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods
- Perform other related duties as assigned
