Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience accepted in lieu of degree
- ability to read menu items in English
- ability to communicate in English
- ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- ability to push trucks and carts with food and supplies
- willingness to work scheduled hours including every other weekend
- physical ability to perform standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, gross and fine manipulation, feeling, talking, hearing, and vision tasks

Job Duties
- Attends department meetings, monthly in-services, training classes
- anticipates and meets customer needs
- maintains cleanliness of work areas
- maintains cleanliness and sanitation of department equipment
- demonstrates a positive and friendly attitude
- adheres to all HACCP standards
- alerts supervisor to any concerns, discrepancies, product shortages
- actively supports and upholds department goals to maintain or improve operations and customer satisfaction
- works in various tray line, cafeteria, and kitchen positions
- sets up and stocks food station for meal service
- assembles patient trays, serves food and beverage to retail customers, delivers or retrieves trays from patient rooms
- cleans station, equipment, and floors at the end of each meal
- operates dish machine, trash compactor, mops floors
- prepares additional food items for patient tray line and cafeteria operations
- regularly works on sanitation projects assigned by manager
- assists with training of new employees and cross-training of fellow employees
