Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of experience in food and beverage, hospitality, or hospital cafeteria setting preferred
- Currently hold a Food Handler's Permit if required by state
- Obtain ANSI accredited food handler certification within 30 days if not already certified
- Preferably possess ServSafe certification
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, five days a week
- Willingness to work rotating weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum one year of experience in food and beverage, hospitality, or high-volume hospital cafeteria preferred
- Currently hold a valid Food Handler's Permit as required by state or county
- Certification from an ANSI accredited food handler training program or obtain within 30 days of employment
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work setting
Job Duties
- Provide culinary and dietary support for patients, caregivers, and staff
- Handle all cash transactions for food items accurately
- Maintain and set up serving and dining areas ensuring sanitation and safety
- Deliver exceptional customer service to create a welcoming environment
- Collaborate effectively with team members to support smooth kitchen and dining operations
- Monitor food quality and presentation standards
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and regulations
