Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of experience in food and beverage, hospitality, or hospital cafeteria setting preferred
  • Currently hold a Food Handler's Permit if required by state
  • Obtain ANSI accredited food handler certification within 30 days if not already certified
  • Preferably possess ServSafe certification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, five days a week
  • Willingness to work rotating weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum one year of experience in food and beverage, hospitality, or high-volume hospital cafeteria preferred
  • Currently hold a valid Food Handler's Permit as required by state or county
  • Certification from an ANSI accredited food handler training program or obtain within 30 days of employment
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work setting

Job Duties

  • Provide culinary and dietary support for patients, caregivers, and staff
  • Handle all cash transactions for food items accurately
  • Maintain and set up serving and dining areas ensuring sanitation and safety
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to create a welcoming environment
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to support smooth kitchen and dining operations
  • Monitor food quality and presentation standards
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and regulations
