Job Requirements
- Currently dated food handler's permit if required by the state
- certification from an American National Standards Institute accredited food handler training program or obtained within 30 days of employment
- ServSafe certification preferred
- flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong time management skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1 year of experience in food and beverage, hospitality, or high-volume hospital cafeteria setting
- excellent communication skills
- strong customer service skills
- ability to work well in a team
- basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office Suite
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Handle all cash transactions for food items
- maintain and set up serving and dining areas
- ensure a safe and sanitary environment
- provide exceptional customer service
- collaborate with culinary and dietary teams to meet patient and guest needs
- monitor food quality and presentation
- comply with all health and safety regulations
