Job Requirements
- must be able to read, speak and comprehend English at level necessary to follow oral and written instructions and safety precautions
- food handlers card from City-County Health Department obtained within 30 days of employment
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in food services work preferred
- bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required

Job Duties
- perform duties related to food service for hospital patients including simple food preparation and serving
- assemble and deliver trays to patients
- wash ware and conduct generalized cleaning
- prepare and deliver late trays and supplemental feedings to nursing units
- take inventory and deliver proper floor stock to nursing units
- serve food or assist in preparation of bakery products, salads, and grilled foods for patients and/or cafeteria
- operate cash registers as needed
