Job Requirements
- Basic math skills such as addition subtraction multiplication division
- Ability to read understand and follow recipes
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform 2 handed carrying up to 60 lbs
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods up to 7.5 hours a day and perform repetitive tasks such as mixing cutting and stirring
- Capacity to work in varied environmental conditions including cold areas less than or equal to 65 degrees Fahrenheit hot areas greater than or equal to 80 degrees Fahrenheit and on concrete flooring
- Comfortable handling sharp tools and working around potentially hazardous equipment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of prior experience in food service or food preparation
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced physically demanding environment
- Basic communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Prepare and assemble a variety of cold and hot food items including entrees sides salads sandwiches fruits vegetables and baked goods
- Follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with inventory tracking restocking and proper storage of supplies
- Operate and maintain commercial kitchen equipment including slicers mixers blenders steam kettles fryers and chippers
- Work effectively with co workers supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Adapt to various duties as assigned based on staffing and daily kitchen operations
