Job Requirements
- must possess a secondary (i.e., high school) school diploma or its equivalent (GED)
- six months of full-time experience in quantity food cooking, preparation and serving is required
- a valid Food Safety Certification from a nationally recognized Food Safety Program is desirable
- applicants must provide proof of education such as diploma, GED, or college degree
- food safety certification is desirable
- current employees may submit a short application or transfer request
- background check will be performed
- must comply with nondiscrimination policies
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- prepare and serve quantity food items in a timely and sanitary manner
- maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and serving areas
- follow food safety and handling protocols
- assist with inventory and storage of food supplies
- collaborate with kitchen and cafeteria staff to ensure smooth meal service
- adhere to all district policies and procedures
- support special meal accommodations as needed
