Job Requirements
- must follow set procedures in accomplishing repetitive assignments and follow established sequence of work
- demonstrated history of related food service experience preferably with a major institution or the military is desired
- ServSafe certification preferred
- may be required if hired
- lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- work in a standing position in the dining facility and kitchen area for 6 to 7 hours excluding break and lunch periods
- some bending and stooping

Job Duties
- perform a variety of tasks in the kitchen and dining area following established procedures
- set up and replenish cafeteria lines, steamtables, dining room tables, and side service stands with hot and cold food items
- assemble or toss fresh fruit and green salads using prepared dressings and portions
- make cold sandwiches using prepared ingredients
- clean all tabletops and ensure counters and windowsills are dust-free
- sweep and mop dining facility floors daily
- ensure napkin dispensers, salt and pepper shakers, and condiments are fully stocked before and after meals
- remove and wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils according to HACCP standards
- clean kitchen equipment daily or as needed
- adhere to company rules and perform other tasks as assigned
