Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in food preparation or service preferred
  • Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Must have basic math skills
  • Ability to work varied hours including rotating weekends
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and multiplication
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of residents, staff, and visitors
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Serv-Safe certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items and serve meals according to dietary procedures
  • Complete daily paperwork including temperature logs and reports
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and proper storage of equipment and supplies
  • Adhere to all HACCP procedures such as hand washing and safe food handling
  • Assist with departmental projects as assigned
  • Follow established food safety policies and local regulations
  • Support teamwork and adapt to the needs of residents, staff, and visitors
