- ServSafe Food Handler certification preferred
- Strong understanding of food handling regulations

Job Duties
- Supervise inmate labor and/or team members in the kitchen during food prep and food service shifts
- Prepare, assist or instruct inmate labor and/or team members in the preparation of a variety of food items according to departmental standards
- Follow assigned facility housekeeping and safety practices in all preparation, oversight, and serving of correctional facility meals
- Ensure compliance with food handling regulations and maintain kitchen sanitation standards
- Manage kitchen operations efficiently to meet production and service goals
- Adapt quickly to changes and multitask effectively during shifts
- Perform other duties as determined by the needs of the business
