Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in food preparation and service in a fast-paced environment preferred
  • Ability to work full-time with variable hours and rotating weekend shifts
  • Must adhere to all food safety standards and regulatory requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Must be dependable and able to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and multiplication
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of residents, staff, and visitors
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Serv-Safe certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve meals in accordance with federal, state, and local food safety regulations
  • Follow HACCP procedures including proper hand washing, safe handling of hazardous foods, and monitoring critical control points
  • Complete required paperwork such as temperature logs, daily as mandated by authorities
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including proper storage and shutdown of equipment
  • Assist with departmental projects as assigned or required
  • Ensure all dietary procedures and policies are consistently followed
  • Collaborate effectively with the kitchen team and other staff to meet resident needs
