Job Requirements

  • Possession of or eligible to obtain a Washington State Food Worker Card within two weeks of employment
  • one year of experience preparing and serving food and beverage
  • equivalent education or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when requiring legal certification
  • availability to work per diem schedule including weekends and evenings
  • ability to work independently

  • Experience preparing and serving food and beverages
  • ability to operate espresso and food service equipment
  • customer service skills in a diverse environment
  • ability to train others
  • basic cash handling skills
  • knowledge of food safety practices
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Independently operate a remote food service area or espresso bar
  • prepare and serve espresso beverages and food items
  • perform cleaning and stocking duties
  • provide excellent and respectful customer service
  • train new or unskilled employees in food and beverage preparation and service
  • operate all espresso and food service equipment
  • handle cash register operations including cash, check, and charge payments in accordance with procedures
