Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in food service cashier preferred
- must have math and customer relations skills
- must be able to work in hot and humid areas

- knowledge of HACCP guidelines is beneficial
Job Duties
- Greets all customers promptly and courteously
- handles all financial matters in a responsible manner
- balances the cash drawer on a daily basis and is responsible for maintaining accurate customer transactions
- assist in setting up serving area and serves customers in accordance with established schedule and procedure
- cleans the cafeteria dining area and customer service area following infection control and HACCP guidelines
- informs supervisor of all supply and equipment needs
- maintains adequate food and nonfood supplies during meal service
- communicates all customer related comments and or complaints to the appropriate supervisor
- completes all documentation requirements, temperature logs, cleaning schedule, daily deposits, etc
- understands standard isolation procedures and HACCP guidelines
- understands role in hospitals fire, safety and disaster programs
- performs other duties as assigned or requested
