- Previous experience in food service cashier preferred
- Must have math and customer relations skills

Job Duties
- Greets all customers promptly and courteously
- Handles all financial matters in a responsible manner
- Balances the cash drawer on a daily basis and is responsible for maintaining accurate customer transactions
- Assist in setting up serving area and serves customers in accordance with established schedule and procedure
- Cleans the cafeteria dining area and customer service area following infection control and HACCP guidelines
- Informs supervisor of all supply and equipment needs
- Maintains adequate food and nonfood supplies during meal service
- Communicates all customer related comments and/or complaints to the appropriate supervisor
- Completes all documentation requirements, temperature logs, cleaning schedule, daily deposits, etc.
- Understands standard isolation procedures and HACCP guidelines
- Understands role in hospitals fire, safety and disaster programs
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested
