Job Requirements
- Must be able to read and write English
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Physically able to sit, stand, stoop, bend and ambulate intermittently
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Normal vision and hearing with or without correction
- Ability to climb intermittently
- Ability to push, pull or lift 100-300 pounds
- Exposure to chemicals and cleaning products
- Exposure to warm and cold temperatures
Job Qualifications
- Able to read and write English
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and lifting heavy loads
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and protocols
Job Duties
- Maintain the cleanliness of assigned dietary areas and equipment
- Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, pans and carts
- Clean equipment and surfaces in the dietary department
- Uphold the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System
- Adhere to safety and sanitation protocols
- Assist in maintaining stock of cleaning supplies
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards
