Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior dishwashing or food service utility experience preferred
  • ability to work full-time Monday through Friday including rotating weekends
  • available to work from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm
  • ability to comply with sanitation and safety standards
  • capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting and cleaning
  • willingness to perform other assigned duties
  • ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare food service environment

Job Qualifications

  • Prior dishwashing experience preferred
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and order in kitchen work areas
  • understanding of safety and sanitation standards
  • physical ability to sweep, mop, clean, and lift supplies
  • strong attention to detail
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work rotating weekends

Job Duties

  • Sweep and mop floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards
  • wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces
  • remove trash and place it into designated containers
  • steam clean or hose out garbage cans
  • transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
  • assist with banquet table and front of the house set up
  • assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product
  • distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed
  • comply with outlined sanitation and safety requirements
  • perform other duties as assigned
