Job Requirements
- must have a valid Virginia driver’s license with acceptable driving record from the last three years
- experience driving delivery trucks up to 13 tons GVWR
- ability to routinely lift 50 pounds or 25 percent of body weight whichever is less
- ability to perform physically demanding tasks including standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and moving efficiently around the kitchen
- must be available to work up to 29 hours per week including pm shifts, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- valid Virginia driver’s license with a clean driving record for the last three years
- experience driving delivery trucks up to 13 tons GVWR
- ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods
- basic knowledge of food service sanitation, safety, and service requirements preferred
- strong attention to detail and commitment to health standards
- good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- transport meal trays to patients timely
- adhere to health and safety regulations during food transport
- maintain cleanliness and functionality of transportation equipment
- uphold hygiene standards in food handling and preparation areas
- lift and move heavy objects safely
- stand for extended periods during shifts
- assist with other food service tasks as needed
