Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree or a suitable combination of education and experience
  • minimum age 18 years old
  • must be able to wear personal protective equipment as required by the position and comply with safety policies
  • basic knowledge of and ability to use hand and power tools, including tape measurers and rivet guns
  • strong hand-eye coordination
  • attention to detail
  • ability to use good judgment and problem-solving skills
  • effective quality management and technical skills needed
  • ability to read, speak, and write English and follow both written and verbal instructions
  • regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
  • ability to maintain a neat, professional appearance within company guidelines
  • ability to utilize all company provided resources and technology
  • repeated sitting, standing on cement floors, walking, pushing/pulling, lifting, carrying, up to 35 lbs
  • continuous bending, kneeling squatting, grasping, reaching, fine manipulation and exposure to chemicals and noise

Job Duties

  • Safely disassemble and reassemble food service equipment using hand, power and air tools
  • follow instructions based on customer and company requirements
  • clean all components, replace parts as needed and refinish stainless steel
  • work as part of a team to achieve daily goals
  • test for proper operation and QC check
  • assist with training and continuous improvement
  • maintain work area and equipment in a clear, safe, and orderly condition
  • prepare and/or package finished equipment for shipping
