Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Age 18 or older
  • Previous retail experience preferred
  • Strong interest and knowledge of the food service business
  • Ability to lead and hold others accountable
  • Ability to communicate using multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks
  • Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members

Job Duties

  • Understand sales goals and plan daily and weekly workloads to meet department and store sales targets
  • Work flexible schedules including early morning, evening, overnight, weekends, and holidays
  • Assign daily tasks to team members based on workload and guest traffic
  • Assess food service areas to ensure compliance with food safety and inventory levels
  • Conduct daily audits of food and beverage standards and follow up on team progress
  • Enforce food safety and cleaning protocols including temperature monitoring
  • Lead team in upholding Starbucks and Pizza Hut brand standards where applicable
  • Collaborate with Starbucks district managers and participate in business meetings
  • Place store-initiated orders to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Make production decisions to ensure freshness and profitability
  • Stay informed on industry trends to educate team members
  • Participate in hiring and onboarding of new team members
  • Set clear performance goals and hold team accountable to expectations
  • Complete all required training and certifications including Food Safety Manager
  • Model ethical conduct, safety, and compliance culture
  • Lead safety initiatives and respond to incidents
  • Promote inclusivity and create equitable experiences within the team
  • Address store emergency and compliance needs promptly
  • Support guest services including backup cashier and order pickups
  • Create a welcoming guest experience through engagement and assistance
  • Perform all other duties as needed based on business requirements
