Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Age 18 or older
  • Previous retail experience preferred but not required
  • Strong interest and knowledge of the food service business
  • Ability to lead and hold others accountable
  • Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently
  • Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
  • Effective communication skills
  • Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
  • Interpret instructions, reports and information
  • Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
  • Climb up and down ladders as needed
  • Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds
  • Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Reliable, prompt and regular attendance necessary
  • Ability to work in an environment ranging from 34F to -10F
  • Ability to work in spaces where common allergens may be handled or present
  • Capable of working in varying temperatures, humidity and other elements
  • Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift

Job Duties

  • Understand sales goals, plan and execute daily/weekly workload to deliver department and store sales goals and guest engagement
  • Work a schedule that aligns to guest and business needs including early morning, evening, overnight shifts and weekends
  • Assign daily tasks to team members based on planned workload and guest traffic patterns, ensuring alignment with business priorities
  • Assess food service back of house, production areas, dining spaces and merchandising spaces to ensure food safety and proper inventory levels
  • Walk Food & Beverage standards and routines daily and follow up on business gaps
  • Follow all food safety requirements and cleaning routines including monitoring and recording temperature sensitive food items
  • Validate and follow up on team members’ progress against department checklists and routines
  • Lead team to uphold and maintain Starbucks and Pizza Hut standards and production specifications where applicable
  • Foster productive relationships with Starbucks district managers, attend required planning meetings and act on key takeaways
  • Ensure accurate in-stocks by placing store-initiated orders aligned with best practices
  • Follow perishable inventory management procedures
  • Make production quantity decisions to ensure freshness, in-stocks, sales and profitability
  • Stay up to date on relevant trends and products to educate team members
  • Participate in team hiring and onboarding processes
  • Establish clear goals and expectations for team members and hold them accountable
  • Complete food safety certifications and Starbucks/Pizza Hut training requirements
  • Lead and demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance culture
  • Model safety behaviors, identify and correct hazards, assist with incident response and reporting
  • Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and creating equitable experiences
  • Close skill gaps through development, coaching and team interactions
  • Model execution of physical security processes and support merchandise protection strategies
  • Follow all safe and secure procedures as a key carrier if applicable
  • Address store emergency and compliance needs
  • Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
  • Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up and Drive-up while maintaining compliance
  • Create welcoming experiences by greeting guests and engaging with their needs
  • Thank guests to promote a positive shopping experience
  • Perform other duties based on business needs
