Job Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain a ServSafe Certification during the onboarding process
  • Knowledge of retail sales operations such as operating a point-of-sale system
  • Knowledge of food handling, sanitation and safety regulations
  • Ability to accurately handle financial transactions, reconcile cash drawers and maintain financial records
  • Ability to manage multiple processes, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to follow standardized procedures and maintain consistency
  • Ability to provide effective customer service and resolve concerns
  • Skill in engaging positively with all populations and communities, contributing to a safe and inclusive learning and work environment
  • Skill in effectively and respectfully communicating with others

Job Duties

  • Ensures high-quality beverage service by maintaining consistency in preparation and adhering to standardized recipes
  • Maintains compliance with health and safety standards by overseeing proper food handling and sanitation practices
  • Upholds a clean and organized service environment by ensuring regular sanitation of equipment and workstations
  • Contributes to an inclusive, equitable and supportive environment where everyone at the institution feels valued, respected and empowered to reach their full potential
  • Adheres to college policies, directives and work rules while maintaining a commitment to the college's mission, vision and values
  • Performs other related duties within the scope of the position as required for the efficient operation of the division and to support institutional objectives
