Job Requirements
- High school or equivalent additional work experience
- 0-2 years of relevant working experience
- Ability to obtain a ServSafe Certification during the onboarding process
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of retail sales operations such as operating a point-of-sale system
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation and safety regulations
- Ability to accurately handle financial transactions, reconcile cash drawers and maintain financial records
- Ability to manage multiple processes, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow standardized procedures and maintain consistency
- Ability to provide effective customer service and resolve concerns
- Skill in engaging positively with all populations and communities, contributing to a safe and inclusive learning and work environment
- Skill in effectively and respectfully communicating with others
Job Duties
- Ensures high-quality food and beverage service by maintaining consistency in preparation and adhering to standardized recipes
- Maintains compliance with health and safety standards by overseeing proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Upholds a clean and organized service environment by ensuring regular sanitation of equipment and workstations
- Contributes to an inclusive, equitable and supportive environment where everyone at the institution feels valued, respected and empowered to reach their full potential
- Adheres to college policies, directives and work rules while maintaining a commitment to the college's mission, vision and values
