Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
  • must complete sanitation course either before or during first year
  • ability to perform basic arithmetic
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to maintain emotional control under stress
  • proven problem-solving abilities
  • knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • flexibility to work nights and weekends
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods
  • must be able to multitask proficiently
  • ability to train and mentor employees

Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
  • direct daily activities
  • maintain food production ensuring safety and quality
  • ensure food items are stored safely and hazard-free
  • maintain serving schedules and comply with menu specifications
  • maintain sanitary conditions adhering to health and safety codes
  • conduct weekly inventory and prepare orders
  • supervise and evaluate employees promoting growth and teamwork
  • maintain a safe working environment
  • train and mentor food service workers
  • keep maintenance logs for equipment
  • complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions
  • perform preventative maintenance
  • recommend equipment replacements
  • multitask proficiently
  • perform duties as assigned by Food Service Director or Manager
  • fill in for absent employees
  • oversee daily catering events and ensure timely delivery
  • work occasional night and weekend catered events
  • attend staff meetings
  • maintain effective communication
  • perform cashier duties as needed
  • promote good public relations
