Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
- ability to manage schedules and coordinate teams
- knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- strong communication skills
- ability to multitask effectively
- willing to work occasional night and weekend events
Job Qualifications
- Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year
- knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program
- ability to perform basic arithmetic

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
- direct daily activities
- maintain food production ensuring safety and quality according to policies and procedures
- ensure food items are stored safely and hazard-free
- maintain serving schedules ensuring food items served per menu specifications
- maintain sanitary conditions following health and safety codes
- maintain accurate inventory weekly
- prepare orders to ensure accurate production
- supervise and evaluate employees, counsel, promote employee growth and teamwork
- maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
- train and mentor food service workers
- maintain equipment maintenance logs
- ensure completion of food safety and temperature logs with corrective action
- perform preventative maintenance checklist
- recommend equipment replacement
- perform other duties as assigned by director or manager
- fill in for absent employees
- maintain knowledge of daily catering events and ensure timely preparation and delivery
- work occasional night and weekend catered events
- attend food service meetings
- maintain communication with staff
- perform cashier duties when needed
- promote good public relations
