Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or related field
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions
- Completion of sanitation training within first year
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Physical ability to perform tasks and stand for long periods
Job Qualifications
- Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- Must complete a sanitation course before or during first year
- Knowledgeable in cost-effective program operation
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic
- Maintain emotional control under stress
- Ability to resolve interpersonal situations
- Strong organizational skills
Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
- Direct daily activities
- Maintain food production ensuring safety and quality
- Ensure safe, organized, and hazard-free food storage
- Maintain serving schedules and follow menu specifications
- Maintain sanitary department following health and safety codes
- Maintain accurate inventory weekly
- Prepare orders as needed for accurate production
- Supervise and evaluate employees, promote employee growth and teamwork
- Maintain safe working environment
- Train and mentor food service workers
- Maintain equipment maintenance logs
- Complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective action
- Perform preventative maintenance checklist
- Recommend equipment replacements
- Multi-task proficiently
- Perform duties requested by Food Service Director or Manager
- Fill in for absent employees as necessary
- Coordinate daily catering events
- Work occasional night and weekend catered events
- Attend food service meetings
- Maintain staff communication
- Perform cashier duties if needed
- Promote good public relations
