Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- must complete sanitation course within first year if not already completed
- ability to read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- ability to perform basic arithmetic
- strong communication and leadership skills
- ability to multitask effectively
- availability to work occasional nights and weekends for catered events

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets
- direct daily activities
- maintain food production ensuring safety and quality according to policies
- ensure food items are stored safely and hazard-free
- maintain serving schedules and ensure food items are served per menu specifications
- maintain sanitary conditions following health and safety codes
- maintain accurate inventory weekly
- prepare orders as needed to ensure accurate production
- supervise and evaluate employees and promote growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork
- maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
- train and mentor other food service workers
- maintain maintenance logs on equipment
- ensure food safety and temperature logs are completed with corrective action
- perform preventative maintenance checklist
- recommend equipment replacement to meet facility needs
- multitask proficiently
- perform other duties as requested by Food Service Director or Manager
- fill in for absent employees as necessary
- maintain knowledge of daily catering events and ensure timely preparation and delivery
- work occasional night and weekend catered events
- attend food service meetings with staff
- maintain communication with staff through various methods
- perform cashier duties as needed
- promote good public relations
