Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food service or supervisory roles preferred
- Must complete sanitation course before or during first year
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must maintain emotional control under stress
- Ability to resolve interpersonal conflicts
- Strong organizational and leadership skills

- Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- Must complete a sanitation course before or during the first year
- Knowledge in operating an efficient and cost-effective program

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
- Direct daily activities
- Maintain food production that ensures safety and quality according to policies and department requirements
- Ensure safe and organized food storage
- Maintain serving schedules ensuring food items meet menu specifications and safety standards
- Maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes
- Maintain accurate inventory weekly
- Prepare orders as needed to ensure accurate production
- Supervise and evaluate employees promoting growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork
- Maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
- Train and mentor food service workers
- Maintain logs of equipment maintenance
- Ensure completion of food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions
- Perform preventative maintenance checklist
- Recommend equipment replacement
- Multi-task effectively
- Perform other duties requested by Food Service Director or Manager
- Fill in for absent employees as necessary
- Manage daily catering events ensuring timely preparation and delivery
- Work occasional night and weekend catered events
- Attend food service meetings with staff
- Maintain communication with staff through various channels
- Perform cashier duties as needed
- Promote good public relations
