Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service preferred
- completion or willingness to complete a sanitation course
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- strong leadership and communication skills
- ability to multitask effectively
- knowledge of food safety standards
- physical ability to perform tasks in a fast-paced environment

- complete sanitation course either before or during first year

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules
- direct daily activities
- maintain food production safety and quality
- ensure safe and organized food storage
- maintain serving schedules according to menu specifications
- keep a sanitary department following health and safety codes
- maintain accurate weekly inventory
- prepare orders as needed
- supervise and evaluate employees
- promote employee growth and teamwork
- maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
- train and mentor food service workers
- maintain maintenance logs on equipment
- complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective action
- perform preventative maintenance checklist
- recommend replacement of equipment
- multitask proficiently
- perform other duties assigned by food service director or manager
- fill in for absent employees
- coordinate daily catering events ensuring timely preparation and delivery
- work occasional night and weekend catered events
- attend food service meetings
- maintain communication with staff
- perform cashier duties as needed
- promote good public relations
