Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
- ability to read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- completion of sanitation course before or during the first year
- basic arithmetic skills
- ability to handle stress and resolve interpersonal conflicts
- strong organizational abilities
- willingness to work nights and weekends as needed

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
- direct daily activities
- maintain food production quality and safety according to policies and procedures
- ensure safe, organized, and hazard-free food storage
- maintain serving schedules and serve food per menu specifications
- maintain sanitary department following health and safety codes
- maintain accurate weekly inventory
- prepare orders as needed
- supervise and evaluate employees and promote growth
- maintain safe working environment
- train and mentor food service workers
- keep logs on equipment maintenance
- complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective action
- perform preventative maintenance checklist
- recommend equipment replacement
- multitask proficiently
- perform other duties as assigned by Food Service Director or Manager
- fill in for absent employees
- maintain knowledge of catering events and confirm timely delivery
- work occasional nights and weekends for catered events
- attend food service meetings
- maintain communication with staff
- perform cashier duties as needed
- promote good public relations
