Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
- ability to lead and manage a team
- excellent communication skills
- capable of multitasking and working in a fast-paced environment
- available to work occasional nights and weekends for catering events
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
- basic computer skills for inventory and scheduling
- willingness to complete sanitation certification if not already completed
Job Qualifications
- Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- complete a sanitation course before or during the first year
- knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program
- ability to perform basic arithmetic

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets (production sheets and recipes)
- direct daily activities
- maintain food production that ensures safety and quality according to policies and department requirements
- ensure food items are stored safely and hazard-free
- maintain all serving schedules per menu specifications following Aramark policies
- maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes
- maintain accurate weekly inventory
- prepare orders as needed for accurate production
- supervise and evaluate employees promoting growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork
- maintain a safe working environment
- train and mentor other food service workers
- maintain equipment maintenance logs
- complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions
- perform preventative maintenance checklist
- recommend equipment replacement
- perform other duties as requested by Food Service Director or Manager
- fill in for absent employees as necessary
- manage catering events and attend food service meetings
- maintain communication with staff
- perform cashier duties as needed
- promote good public relations
