Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service preferred
- Ability to supervise and lead a team
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work occasional nights and weekends
- Physical ability to perform job duties
- Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- Must complete sanitation course before or during first year
- Knowledge of cost-effective program operation

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
- Direct daily activities
- Maintain food production ensuring safety and quality
- Ensure proper storage of food items
- Maintain serving schedules and ensure food service follows menu specifications
- Maintain sanitary conditions adhering to health and safety codes
- Maintain accurate weekly inventory
- Prepare orders to ensure accurate production
- Supervise and evaluate employees and promote teamwork and morale
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Train and mentor food service workers
- Maintain equipment maintenance logs
- Complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Recommend equipment replacements
- Multi-task efficiently
- Perform duties assigned by Food Service Director or Manager
- Fill in for absent employees
- Coordinate catering events to ensure timely preparation and delivery
- Work occasional nights and weekends for catered events
- Attend food service meetings
- Maintain staff communication
- Perform cashier duties when necessary
- Promote good public relations
