Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or related supervisory role preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Basic computer skills for inventory and scheduling
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as needed
- Must complete a sanitation course as part of job requirements

- Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year
- Must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets
- Direct daily activities
- Maintain food production ensuring safety and quality per policies and department requirements
- Ensure food items are stored safely, organized, and hazard-free
- Maintain serving schedules ensuring food items meet menu specifications and safety standards
- Maintain sanitary conditions following health and safety codes
- Maintain accurate weekly inventory
- Prepare orders as needed for accurate production
- Supervise and evaluate employees, counsel and promote growth, morale, and teamwork
- Maintain a safe and hazard-free work environment
- Train and mentor other food service workers
- Maintain equipment maintenance logs
- Ensure completion of food safety and temperature logs with corrective action
- Perform preventative maintenance checklist
- Recommend replacement of equipment
- Multi-task proficiently
- Perform duties as requested by Food Service Director or Manager
- Fill in for absent employees
- Manage daily catering events and ensure timely preparation and delivery
- Work occasional night and weekend catered events
- Attend food service meetings
- Maintain communication with staff
- Perform cashier duties as needed
- Promote good public relations
