Job Duties
- Plan, organize, and direct district food service operations in compliance with federal and state regulations
- Develop and control food service budget and recommend food prices and vendors
- Plan and recommend new food service operations, procedures, equipment, and systems
- Design and manage computerized systems for recordkeeping and point-of-sale tracking
- Maintain fiscal records and analyze financial statements to ensure viability
- Plan and prepare menus compliant with nutritional regulations
- Establish and maintain ordering systems for food, supplies, and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and related areas
