Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- must be at least 18 years old
- prior institutional food service or restaurant experience preferred
- ability to work early morning shifts including some weekends
- physical capability to stand and perform manual tasks for extended periods
- compliance with facility policies and uniform requirements

Job Duties
- Supervise inmate labor and/or team members during food preparation and service
- prepare and instruct in food preparation according to menu and recipes
- ensure proper and sanitary food storage
- serve food according to scheduled meal times and policies
- utilize kitchen equipment and utensils for cooking and serving
- follow food safety regulations pertaining to sanitation and handling
- maintain a clean kitchen work environment including cleaning equipment and floors
- train and support food service workers
- adhere to facility uniform policy
- manage waste collection and kitchen cleanliness
- promote a safe and healthy work environment
- perform physical tasks like lifting, bending, standing
- execute other related duties as assigned
