Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
- ability to read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- completion of sanitation course before or during first year of employment
- proficiency in basic arithmetic
- ability to maintain emotional control under stressful situations
- strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- willingness to work occasional nights and weekends for catered events

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
- direct daily activities
- maintain food production ensuring safety and quality according to policies and procedures
- ensure safe, organized, and hazard-free food storage
- maintain serving schedules and ensure food items are served per menu specifications
- maintain sanitary department following health and safety codes and regulations
- maintain accurate inventory on a weekly basis
- prepare orders as needed for accurate production
- supervise and evaluate employees, promote growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork
- maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
- train and mentor food service workers
- maintain logs on maintenance required on equipment
- ensure food safety and temperature logs are completed with corrective action
- perform preventative maintenance checklist
- recommend replacement of equipment
- multitask proficiently
- perform other duties as requested by Food Service Director or Manager
- fill in for absent employees as necessary
- maintain knowledge of daily catering events and confirm their preparation and delivery
- work occasional nights and weekends for catering events
- attend food service meetings with staff
- maintain communication with staff including office staff and inter-office mail
- perform cashier duties as needed
- promote good public relations
