Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in food service or supervisory roles preferred
  • Completion or willingness to complete sanitation training
  • Ability to work full-time hours including some nights and weekends
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lead and mentor staff
  • Basic math proficiency
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain composure and resolve conflicts under stress

Job Qualifications

  • Must be able to read, write, and understand verbal instructions
  • Completion or willingness to complete a sanitation course within the first year
  • Knowledge of operating cost-effective food service programs
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic
  • Maintain emotional control under stress
  • Ability to resolve interpersonal conflicts
  • Strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
  • Direct daily activities
  • Maintain food production ensuring safety and quality according to policies and procedures
  • Ensure food items are stored safely and hazard-free
  • Maintain serving schedules per menu specifications following company policies
  • Oversee department sanitation and adhere to health and safety codes
  • Maintain weekly accurate inventory
  • Prepare orders to ensure accurate production
  • Supervise, evaluate, and promote employee growth and teamwork
  • Maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
  • Train and mentor food service workers
  • Maintain equipment maintenance logs
  • Complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions as needed
  • Perform preventative maintenance checklists
  • Recommend equipment replacements
  • Multi-task efficiently
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
  • Fill in for absent employees
  • Manage daily catering events ensuring timely preparation and delivery
  • Work occasional nights and weekends for catering events
  • Attend food service meetings
  • Maintain communication with staff
  • Perform cashier duties when necessary
  • Promote good public relations
