Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
- Direct daily activities
- Maintain food production safety and quality according to policies and procedures
- Ensure safe, organized, and hazard-free storage of food items
- Maintain serving schedules and ensure food items are served per menu specifications
- Maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes
- Maintain accurate inventory weekly
- Prepare orders to ensure accurate production
- Supervise and evaluate employees
- Counsel and promote employee growth and teamwork
- Maintain safe and hazard-free working environment
- Train and mentor food service workers
- Maintain maintenance logs for equipment
- Ensure completion of food safety and temperature logs with corrective action
- Perform preventative maintenance checklist
- Recommend replacement of equipment
- Proficiently multitask
- Perform duties assigned by Food Service Director or Manager
- Fill in for absent employees
- Maintain knowledge and preparation of catering events including occasional nights and weekends
- Attend food service meetings
- Maintain communication with staff
- Perform cashier duties as needed
- Promote public relations
